From a young age I took an interest in music - being involved in band and choir, madrigal singers, school musicals, and marching band. I decided to pursue music further and continued my education at Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, where found a love for music composition and earned a Bachelor's of Trombone Performance.

During my time at Millikin University, I arranged "All for Us" from the hit show Euphoria and "Stupid Deep" by Jon Bellion for Dissonance A Capella. In 2019, I won the Young Composers Competition at the University of Missouri-St. Louis for my original composition "Sweet Dreams, My Angel." I also had the amazing opportunity to premiere my first piece for wind ensemble with the Millikin Symphonic Wind Ensemble in 2021 - "Duality" a two movement piece with exciting and modern melodies. 

Since then, I have arranged numerous popular songs for a capella groups and small choirs and have continued to write original works.
